What is an integrated health and wellness center?
It’s a health care center that uses a multi-disciplinary approach to the care that they provide, focusing on conservative care without the use of drugs and/or surgery as a first tool of treatment. In our case, we combine Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy and Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. We believe that this approach helps us offer a more rounded care, all under one roof.
What conditions do Primero Spine + Joint treat?
Our expertise lies in the conservative management of spinal and joint related problems including, but not limited to: back pain, neck pain, headaches, bulging/herniated discs, shoulder pain, hip pain, and knee pain. We also care for patients with a wide variety of sports and auto accident injuries involving muscles and ligaments. The benefits of our care extend to general health, since our body structure affects overall function.
What is a Chiropractic adjustment or Spinal Manipulation?
Chiropractic adjustment or manipulation is a manual procedure that utilizes the highly refined skills developed during the chiropractic doctor’s intensive years of chiropractic education. The chiropractic physician typically uses his/her hands or an instrument to move a joint of the body, particularly in the spine, that is not moving properly in order to restore joint function and correct proper alignment. For the patient, this means improved spinal function, reduction in pain, and an overall improvement in health and wellness. The doctor adapts the procedure to meet the specific needs of each patient. Patients often note positive changes in their symptoms immediately following treatment.

Do I need to have X-rays?
The doctor will determine if films are necessary during the examination and then will discuss this with you. If you already have X-rays or any other imaging study like an MRI, please bring them in, as they will help the doctor with his examination. If the doctor determines at the end of the examination that new films are necessary, he will discuss that with you.
